is Greenock Elim’s small group initiative. Do you want to ‘plug in’
to Greenock Elim a bit more? Have you been wondering where you can
go and meet new people in a smaller setting and discover a deeper
sense of connection to the church? Coming to Greenock Elim in January 2008 connect groups meet every Tuesday night in the Church at 7:15pm. There are four groups, three adult groups and one young adult group that meet to discuss and explore teaching at Greenock Elim. The 4 groups connect around 4 values. connect 4 friendship – connect groups stimulate friendship and fellowship in a relaxed atmosphere and encourage you to connect with other members of Greenock Elim to build long lasting relationships and accountability. connect 4 discipleship – connect groups stimulate discipleship as the small group discusses and applies the biblical teaching delivered each week at Greenock Elim. These groups play a vital role in the ongoing spiritual development of the believer and aid the individual to connect further with God’s plans for life. connect 4 prayer – connect groups stimulate prayer. Greenock Elim desires to be a place of divine exchange, a place where heaven connects with the earth. The Church therefore is committed to prayer, recognising that such a connection is realised through warfare and intercession. The evening commences with a time of prayer and worship where individually and corporately we connect with God to bring him our requests and petitions. connect 4 service – connect groups stimulate service. The small groups helpindividuals to connect with Greenock Elim’s vision and direction as they facilitate opportunities for individuals to serve and be involved in the ministry of the church.
